Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Lead

SHIFT:

Overnight Shifts 7pm to 7am, either Sun-Tuesday every other Saturday or Weds-Friday every other Saturday.


Job Description

Join a leading semiconductor manufacturer as a Manufacturing Technician Lead, where you will play a critical role in supporting material handling in a clean room environment. This long-term project requires leadership and efficiency in managing the movement and storage of materials.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and track the movement of materials to ensure timely delivery.
  • Register material status changes in SAP within 24 hours.
  • Oversee material storage to prevent loss and ensure quick retrieval.
  • Physically transport materials within the clean room and from the warehouse to the customer facility.
  • Track and register serial numbers using RF Scanner.
  • Allocate and transport materials using appropriate methods.
  • Order materials and organize transportation as needed.
  • Inspect tools for completeness and appropriate certifications.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of tooling and kits during pickup and return processes.
  • Assist in defect resolution for incoming tools and kits.
  • Adhere to local and customer safety standards and specific Ways of Working (WoW).

Essential Skills

  • Experience in material handling or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with RF Scanner.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills for pass downs and changeovers.
  • Experience working night shifts.
  • Knowledge of warehouse or semiconductor materials handling.
  • Computer systems knowledge: ERP/MRP or Excel or other inventory management systems.
  • Experience using SAP systems or similar complex ERP.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with semiconductor or complex equipment.
  • Handling of complex electro-mechanical components.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and initiative.
  • Forklift operation and material handling experience.
  • Customer service orientation and multitasking skills.
  • Organizational skills and process improvement experience.
  • Comfortable working in bunny suit and being active throughout the shift.

Work Environment

This role requires working both inside and outside a clean room environment. Shifts are from 7pm to 7am, either Sun-Tuesday every other Saturday or Weds-Friday every other Saturday. The position involves physical labor and requires wearing a bunny suit throughout the shift. You will work side by side with a full-time registrar and an SAP coordinator at the main office, receiving direction and support.
