Schedule: M-F 8:30-5:30 PM

Description

The Mortgage Closing Specialist role is responsible for supporting various Channels. As the Mortgage Closing Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. 

• Perform routine data entry and validation tasks
• Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)
• Review and validate loan documents
• Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses
• Monitor work queues and intervening as needed
• Working with Refinance Loans and Purchase Loans.
• Scrubbing Loan Files. Making sure taxes and insurance are correct.
• Goal is to be closing 8-10 Loans A Day.
• Working with Urgency, in fast paced environment.
• You will not be speaking with barrowers directly.

Qualifications

*Mortgage Closing Experience required*

• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local mortgage regulations a plus
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Effective time management skills to deliver work on time
• Capable communicator, written and oral
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
