Job Description
The Installation Coordinator is a key part of the Site Project Management Team responsible for installing company equipment at customer facilities. This role involves coordinating between the Site Project Teams, Remote Management, and the customer to facilitate installation work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Site Project Teams, Remote Management, and customers to facilitate installation work.
- Perform daily wiring tasks including pre-wiring components and installing junction boxes.
- Prepare systems for downstream robotics installation.
- Lead and coordinate a small team of 4–5 technicians.
- Communicate daily plans and instructions from the Site Manager.
- Monitor scheduling, procedures, and performance of installation work at the customer’s facility.
- Oversee the implementation and training of approved control systems and procedures.
- Assist Site Manager in coordinating and monitoring task execution and progress.
- Develop installation/qualification and repair procedures for company equipment.
- Coordinate installation personnel to ensure quality of work is to standard and training is provided as appropriate.
- Administer day-to-day operations at the customer’s facility.
- Monitor, guide, and train contractors’ resources and vendors.
- Work with installation subcontractors to compile and complete a Punch list to formally complete a project.
- Supervise and coordinate material movement, electrical and mechanical contractors, QAQC work based on project needs.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment install coordination within a manufacturing environment.
- Natural leadership skills.
- 2+ years of mechanical hands-on troubleshooting and/or installing equipment.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Proficiency in concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Experience with mechanical equipment and project coordination.
- Familiarity with Electro/Mechanical equipment, juncture boxes, installation, blueprint reading, and semiconductor processes.
- Knowledge of logistics, schematics, QA/QC, budgeting, planning, and schedule planning.
- Experience with AC/DC motors, conveyors, cranes, maintenance repair, gearboxes, PLCs, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi equipment.
The role is based on-site at a cleanroom environment in North Phoenix. The position requires wearing a cleanroom suit for extended periods and maintaining compliance with all cleanroom protocols. The work environment is team-oriented with supportive leadership, focused on clarity, honesty, and setting realistic expectations. Initially, no travel is required for the first year, with up to 80% travel within the USA potentially required thereafter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix,AZ.
