Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator supports transportation operations by managing daily freight movements into and out of North American fulfillment centers and across a broader fulfillment network. This role combines logistics coordination, operations support, and customer service to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient shipments. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing area of the business by analyzing data, resolving issues with carriers and vendors, and helping to improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Support daily freight operations by coordinating and monitoring shipments to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
- Communicate proactively with carriers, vendors, shippers, and internal teams to resolve transportation and logistics issues.
- Use logistics and transportation systems (including tools such as Paragon) to manage loads, track shipments, and update relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze operational and shipment data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and eliminate defects in the transportation process.
- Execute standard work processes and operating procedures to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance in freight operations.
- Develop, track, and report performance metrics to help drive business results and continuous improvement in logistics operations.
- Deep dive into operational problems, identify root causes, and recommend or implement effective solutions.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service to internal and external partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and clear communication.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain partners to support dispatch, transportation planning, and overall network performance.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain operations.
- Operational experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to follow and execute standard work processes.
- Strong customer service skills, including experience working with customers, vendors, or shippers by phone and other channels.
- Ability to coordinate between multiple parties, including carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with logistics or transportation management tools and systems, including experience working extensively in platforms such as Paragon.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to deep dive into problems, perform root-cause analysis, and develop solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for a high-pressure, time-sensitive operations environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Background in operations with exposure to logistics, transportation, or freight coordination.
- Experience in customer and vendor relations within a transportation or supply chain context.
- Familiarity with dispatch processes and coordinating shipments across a fulfillment network.
- Interest in long-term career growth within logistics, transportation, or operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling multiple shipments and stakeholders.
- Comfort working with performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at the facility five days per week. The environment is fast-paced and operations-focused, supporting a high-volume transportation and fulfillment network. You will work extensively with logistics and transportation systems, including tools such as Paragon, and communicate frequently by phone and digital channels with shippers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams. The role involves collaborating closely with operations and supply chain colleagues in a professional, team-oriented setting that emphasizes problem solving, data-driven decision making, and long-term career growth.

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
