We are seeking a dedicated Project Procurement Coordinator to manage and streamline the purchasing processes for our construction projects. This role requires collaboration with various teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination within the construction industry.
Responsibilities- Review submittals, estimates, and requisitions to plan and schedule purchases.
- Work with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Engineers, Field Management, Technicians, and vendors to clarify requirements, specifications, and schedules.
- Confer with vendors to obtain part and equipment information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Coordinate with customers, general contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project demands and schedules.
- Coordinate with the BIM team and field team on design assist and field routings.
- Place orders based on submittal requirements and specifications to ensure correct parts and equipment are delivered to the appropriate job sites on schedule.
- Determine the method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid.
- Prepare purchase orders or bid requests.
- Review quotations and negotiate contract terms within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
- Maintain procurement records to track purchased items or services, costs, delivery, quality, and performance.
- Assist with submittal, RFI, and SIPP/Work Plan preparation upon request.
- Attend scope meetings and conduct field walks as necessary.
- Manage internal coordination meetings between field teams, BIM team, and management.
- Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
- Experience in project coordination and working with estimating software.
- Proficiency in assisting Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Exposure to estimating software.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Team-oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.
- background in construction management or project management.
- Experience in proofreading and editing.
- Strong multitasking and administrative organization skills.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
