Validation Coordinator
Position Summary
The Sanitation Validation Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining sanitation validation documentation in support of manufacturing operations within a cosmetic contract manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, and Sanitation teams to ensure validation records are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the completion, review, routing, and archival of sanitation validation documentation.
- Prepare and maintain validation protocols, reports, forms, logbooks, and supporting records.
- Review validation packets for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Ensure all required approvals, signatures, and supporting data are properly documented.
- Track validation projects and schedules to support production timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Generate and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and validation templates.
- Support investigations related to documentation errors, deviations, and validation exceptions.
- Maintain organized, inspection-ready electronic and paper validation files.
- Assist during customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audits.
- Monitor validation status and communicate project updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Quality, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Document Control, Validation, Regulatory Affairs, or a GMP-regulated environment.
- Experience with validation protocols, batch records, and controlled documentation preferred.
- Cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, food, or consumer products manufacturing experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
