Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our clients looking for an AR specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Ideal candidates will have experience in the AR space at least 2-3 years. If this is a role you are interested in do not hesitate to apply!

Description

• Prepare and submit manual invoices.

• Verify incoming daily wire/ACH, deposit checks, and record receipts and deductions (i.e. Amazon, Walmart, other Big Box Retailers).

• Process EDI submissions, disputes, and follow up.

• Research and dispute chargebacks, as considered necessary (i.e. Co-ops, marketing promos, price claims, shortages).

• Internal and external follow up for collection purposes.

• Prepare AR and revenue reports for management (i.e. AR aging)

• Assist with ME closing.

• Release orders off hold upon confirming receipt. Calculate commissions payable to sales agents based on AR activity.

• Other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of AR experience in a mid-size company environment.

• Knowledge of processing AR transactions through large ERP system(s).

• Oracle experience is a plus.

• Attention to detail and great organizational skills are a must.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.

• Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
