Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on precision cleanroom assembly of catheter components used in the brain to help prevent aneurysms. You will spend most of your time working under a microscope, using small hand tools to assemble very small parts such as coiling wire and small tubing. Consistent attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work carefully for extended periods are critical to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small catheter components in a cleanroom environment, following detailed instructions and quality standards.
- Work under a microscope for the majority of the shift to handle and assemble very small parts such as coiling wire and small tubing.
- Use small hand tools accurately and safely to perform delicate assembly tasks.
- Maintain high levels of quality and precision in all assembly work to support safe, reliable medical devices.
- Follow all cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and cleanliness standards.
- Adhere strictly to attendance expectations, arriving on time and working scheduled hours consistently.
- Work long shifts as needed, including extended hours and multiple days per week, while maintaining focus and performance.
- Participate in and successfully complete a hand assessment test to demonstrate fine motor skills and dexterity.
- Collaborate with coworkers and communicate effectively while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Follow supervisor instructions and be open to feedback and additional training to improve skills and performance.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time with strong visual focus and attention to detail.
- Comfort and proficiency using small hand tools for fine, delicate assembly work.
- Ability to work long hours while maintaining accuracy, quality, and concentration.
- Strong commitment to reliable attendance and punctuality, especially during the first 90 days of employment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleanroom procedures consistently.
- Capability to pass a hand assessment test demonstrating fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Previous cleanroom or manufacturing experience is highly desired.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Open to entry-level candidates who can demonstrate strong hand skills and pass the hand assessment test.
- Prior experience in a cleanroom environment or similar high-precision manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new processes and techniques and to improve over time through training and feedback.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships.
- Strong focus on quality, consistency, and performance in a production environment.

Work Environment
You will work in a controlled cleanroom environment and must wear full gowning in accordance with cleanroom standards. The culture encourages communication and positive relationships among team members as long as quality and productivity remain high. Supervisors are understanding and provide multiple chances for improvement when they see strong effort and reliable attendance. The typical schedule is on second shift, Monday through Saturday, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Most employees currently work around 40 to 45 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 10 hours a day and 6 days a week depending on production needs.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
