1st and 2nd Shift Medical Assemblers - 6 Months Experience Required
Job Description
The Assembler I role involves using various tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to accurately assemble and test medical devices under direct supervision. Work in a cleanroom environment during the 2nd shift, starting at either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm with 8-hour shifts. Be prepared for additional hours if required. Candidates must be flexible to work weekdays and Saturdays when needed
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Microscope experience.
- Small part assembly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with microscopes 90% of the shift.
- Able to work with small parts, primarily catheters.
- Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly with a microscope.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Medical device assembly experience.
- Cleanroom experience.
- Experience with measuring tools, calipers, micrometer, and hand tools.
- Mechanical and electrical assembly skills.

Work Environment
The role involves 12-18 month contracts with close workstation assignments and the opportunity to go direct.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
