Job Title: Hardware Validation Engineer
Job Description
In this role, you will be a crucial member of the hardware validation team, focusing on testing and validating the analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems of various products. This role requires strong validation experience and close cooperation with design and integration teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct power measurement and clock measurements for validation.
- Perform hardware verification and validation tasks, including electrical engineering and PCB design testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug PCBs to ensure optimal performance.
- Write and execute test plans for microcontrollers, SoCs, FPGAs, power supplies, electric motors, high-speed, and RF components.
- Measure power and clock noise, including jitter, and verify protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN bus, memory, and Ethernet.
- Develop requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification.
- Execute verification plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of hardware designs.
- Communicate test plans and document measured data effectively.
Essential Skills
- Experience in power measurement and clock noise measurements.
- Protocol verification skills (I2C, SPI, CAN bus, memory, Ethernet).
- Experience with analyzers for data capture and documentation.
- Ability to develop and execute verification plans and test procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent board-level electrical circuit troubleshooting and debug skills.
- Strong hands-on soldering skills with through-hole and surface-mount components.
- Test and measurement experience.
- Experience in analog and power design for DVT measurements.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in Northridge, CA. The role offers an opportunity to impact satellite constellation projects providing internet access. Upon project completion, there will be opportunities for redeployment within the team. Benefits include 7 paid holidays and 15 days of PTO per year, with no tenure limit.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
