Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

We are seeking a registered dental assistant to join our team to support one of LA's leading non-profit healthcare organizations. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on dental assisting duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Start Date: ASAP (2-3 weeks from offer)

Location: South Central Los Angeles (Must be able to float between multiple sites)

Schedule:

• Days: Monday – Saturday (2 Saturdays a month, with potential for more if needed)
• Hours: 7am – 7pm (8-hour shifts, typically 7:30am – 5pm)
• Floating Day Off: One day off during the week

Pay: $28-32/hr

Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire (C2H)

Training: 2 weeks at the main site

Population Served:

• Underserved community and geographic area
• Non-profit organization
• Current patient load: 8-10 per day, increasing to 16-20

Job Duties:

• Scheduling appointments
• Sterilizing instruments
• Rooming patients
• Charting
• Taking X-rays
• Assisting during procedures (handing tools, no intraoral work)
• Typical RDA responsibilities

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• RDA Certification
• Additional certifications (preferred)
