About the Role:
This is an onsite position based in Mountain View, California, with some hybrid flexibility. The role will be supporting our client, a technology corporation that specializes in internet-related services, artificial intelligence (AI), hardware, and software.
As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Analyst, you will assist in the management of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for a small to medium-sized market area. This role forms part of the Environment Health and Safety function, which is responsible for implementing organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and the surrounding communities.
What You'll Do:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Certification in one of the following is preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and execute HSE programs, initiatives, plans, and procedures to meet regulatory and client needs.
- Gather and monitor data related to performance, compliance, and incidents for assigned accounts and market areas.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for EHS programs, including checklists, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Create and deliver engaging content and methods for both hands-on and online EHS training.
- Conduct and document thorough risk assessments, along with basic industrial hygiene testing in lab and workspaces.
- Maintain and administer data tracking processes, record-keeping systems, and spreadsheets for incident and injury reports.
- Perform site safety walkthroughs and lab inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Exhibit professional conduct by modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence) and exchanging straightforward information.
