Seeking a dependable Awning Installer to install custom awnings, canopies, patio covers, and shade structures at commercial and residential job sites. This hands on role requires construction experience, attention to detail, and the ability to read plans and installation drawings.
Responsibilities
- Install awnings, canopies, patio covers, and shade structures.
- Read work orders and shop drawings.
- Measure, lay out, and verify installation locations.
- Install anchors and hardware in wood, concrete, masonry, steel, and stucco.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and service calls.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and company equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of awning installation, construction, carpentry, or sign installation experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read shop drawings and installation drawings.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for projects throughout California.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience with troubleshooting and field problem solving.
- Experience in awning installation, carpentry, or sign installation.

Work Environment
Crews meet in Pacoima and travel together to job sites throughout the Los Angeles area. Typical start times are 6:00 a.m. with occasional overtime, Saturdays, and overnight work. The role involves outdoor construction work, regular ladder and lift use, and occasional travel throughout California. Safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship are top priorities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
