Job Title: Business Development / Sales Engineer (Remote)

*Note* This is a fully remote role but requires candidates live within the SF Bay Area in order to be considered. This role requires travel within the designated territory to develop and maintain key accounts.


Job Description

As a Business Development / Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for executing technical work while ensuring exceptional service delivery. We seek an individual who embodies high-impact behaviors, is inspired to innovate, is empowered to lead, and is accountable for driving success.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner and technical resource for designated accounts, ensuring superior customer service and customized account planning.
  • Travel within the territory to develop Priority OEM accounts, Emerging Winner accounts, and Priority Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) accounts to meet revenue targets and territory budget.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline for Priority OEM accounts, Emerging Winner accounts, and Priority CMO accounts, documenting interactions in the CRM system.
  • Develop and implement integrated strategies to align activities with customer focus areas, conducting regular internal reviews to track progress.
  • Provide technical support to other accounts as required, including managing specification and requirements decisions and delivering technical product training and leading technical presentations.
  • Coordinate Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Value Improvement Process (VIP) activities with priority and other accounts.
  • Provide project management support to priority and other accounts to promote them into the production phase.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in account management and technical resource allocation.
  • Strong capability in travel and territory development for OEM and CMO accounts.
  • Expertise in CRM systems for maintaining sales pipelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Project management experience.
  • Capability in developing and implementing integrated strategies.
  • Experience in delivering technical product training and presentations.

Work Environment

*Note* This is a fully remote role but requires candidates live within the SF Bay Area in order to be considered. This role requires travel within the designated territory to develop and maintain key accounts. The work environment will involve interactions with various departments and accounts to ensure seamless service delivery. The dress code is business casual, reflecting a professional and approachable atmosphere.

Compensation:$125000
