Clinical Research Coordinator
Location: Palo Alto, CA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support complex, early-phase interventional trials at a leading academic medical center. This role is highly patient-facing and focuses on treatment trials (Phase I–II) in areas such as Oncology, CAR-T, Cardiology, and Transplant.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute Phase I–II interventional clinical trials (sponsored studies)
- Manage patient-facing clinical activities, including:
- Patient visits and study procedures
- Coordination of care throughout the trial lifecycle
- Oversee subject recruitment, screening, enrollment, and retention
- Maintain accurate and compliant study data collection and management
- Extract, analyze, and interpret clinical data
- Collaborate with investigators and study sponsors
- Monitor patient safety, including reporting serious adverse events (SAEs)
- Track patient milestones and study progress
- Lead and participate in team meetings; contribute to process improvements
- Ensure adherence to research protocols and institutional standards
Required Qualifications
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years of Clinical Research Coordinator experience
- Experience with interventional (sponsored) clinical trials
- (No observational, survey-based, CRO, pharma, or lab-only research backgrounds)
- Hands-on experience coordinating patient visits in a clinical research setting
- Experience with treatment trials (Phase I–II required)
- Proficiency with EPIC
- Experience in complex therapeutic areas such as:
- Oncology
- CAR-T
- Cardiology
- Transplant
- Strong understanding of clinical trial workflows and patient management
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Palo Alto, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $51.00/hr.
