Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Vinyl Applicator to join our sign manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying vinyl graphics to various substrates, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to client specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for vinyl application by cleaning and ensuring they are free of dust, dirt, and debris.
- Measure and cut vinyl materials to the required size and shape using cutting tools and equipment.
- Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of surfaces, including vehicles, windows, walls, and signs, ensuring proper alignment and smooth finishes.
- Use squeegees, heat guns, and other tools to remove air bubbles and ensure a seamless application.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of vinyl materials and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client expectations.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Experience with industrial and general labor tasks.
- Proficiency in weeding and applying vinyl graphics.
- Ability to measure and cut vinyl materials accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment
Work is conducted on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. The role is based in a manufacturing company located in National City, focusing on sign production. The environment is loud with multiple departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
