Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Chemist to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our synthesis team in running reactions daily, performing chemical analyses of substances to determine their composition and concentration, and compiling, analyzing, and presenting data to help the team make decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute chemical syntheses according to established SOPs.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using analytical chemistry techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and QA/QC.
- Present research findings to team via PowerPoint
- Other duties/research as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory setting (1–3 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of chemical principles and analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
