Description
This position supports the Procurement, Contracting, and Vendor Relations Manager and with the following for vendor relations functions:
Maintains meaningful relationships with non-provider administrative service vendors.
Conducts vendor performance monitoring - ensures vendors meet contractual obligations, regulatory compliance requirements and performance benchmarks.
Gathers product and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements
Collaborates with department leadership on budgeting, financial management, data and analysis, presentations, training and inter-department requests.

• Proven work experience as a Vendor Relations Specialist or similar role;
• Working knowledge of contract law, legal terminology and compliance requirements
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, including management & executive management
• Must be highly organized; with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to interpret, and administer company policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze various alternatives and recommend feasible solutions to problems
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor communication style to specific audiences
• Strong listening and negotiation skills
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
