Job Description
As a Manufacturing Associate manufactures precision metal etched components using a photo-chemical etching process. This role performs multiple production steps, including metal cutting, cleaning, resist coating, developing, etching, and stripping, while working closely with production leads, manufacturing engineers, and production leadership to ensure products meet quality specifications and move efficiently through the manufacturing workflow.
Responsibilities
- Clean metal using dip or conveyor processes to prepare materials for subsequent production steps.
- Operate and support activities in stripping areas as part of the photo-chemical etching process.
- Cut and bake metal as required, and perform resist touch-up to maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Move products to the next operation with all required documentation, ensuring travelers and in-process inspection sheets are fully completed, signed, and dated.
Essential Skills
- Good mathematical skills to interpret measurements, work orders, and process specifications.
- Ability to clearly express concepts verbally and in writing in English.
- Strong attendance and punctuality to support consistent production operations.
- Willingness to learn and complete training provided for the right candidate.
- Experience or aptitude in production or general labor environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication or related manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with metal cutting processes in a production setting.
- Exposure to cleaning, resist coating, developing, etching, and stripping processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production leads, manufacturing engineers, and production leadership.
