Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
Join an emerging research program as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to independently manage and coordinate clinical studies, including a GERD study and a Gout study. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing team and help build upon the foundation of clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to recruit, screen, and consent study participants.
- Coordinate the collection and processing of study specimens.
- Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the enrollment process for a GERD study with approximately 5 participants and an upcoming Gout study with 10 participants.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working independently as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Strong soft skills and ability to work with complex, low-enrollment studies.
- Proficiency in clinical trial processes, chart review, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), EDC (Electronic Data Capture), and clinical study recruitment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Some regulatory experience is beneficial and will be supported by the Site Director.
- Experience with managing data and coordinating studies independently.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite at the Walnut Creek location. The role requires independent work as the Site Director will not always be present. The position offers a dynamic environment within a growing research program started in June 2025, providing an excellent opportunity for those interested in building clinical research expertise.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Walnut Creek, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
