Job Description:
A global life sciences company is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis for a fast-paced, data-driven organization. This role involves partnering cross-functionally to deliver insights that drive sound business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large, complex datasets while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support business decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Communicate financial findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support strategic initiatives with data-driven insights.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- 2 + years of experience performing as a Financial Analyst supporting a large complex organization
- Experience supporting month-end close, executing journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis
- Strong accounting knowledge, GAAP
- Life Science or Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in financial analysis, Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SAP, Oracle, SmartView, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with financial modeling and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Familiarity with advanced financial systems and tools such as Hyperion.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to present financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
This is a Contract position based out of West Hills, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
