Job Title: Electrical Engineer


Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our R&D facility. The role ranges from Engineer I to Engineer III, depending on experience and skills. The individual will work on various projects including electrical drawings, schematics, programming, and machine controls. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in our industry or a similar field, working on displays, joysticks, hydraulic systems, and manipulating hydraulic systems.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical circuits, programs, and wiring harnesses.
  • Create and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Work on the design and implementation of machine control systems.
  • Program and configure PLCs and control systems.
  • Develop and modify wire harnesses for mobile hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on R&D projects.
  • Utilize software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design purposes.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in designing circuits, programs, and wiring harness work.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting schematics and ladder logic.
  • Experience with CAN networks and C+ programming.
  • Familiarity with Danfoss controls and Plus+1 software (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and mobile hydraulics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Ability to use multimeters and other testing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with OEM production and design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Mechanical engineering knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment

The typical work hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM, approximately 45 hours per week, with the potential for overtime. The local site has around 170 employees, providing a collaborative and dynamic work environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects, ensuring that your skills are continually developed and utilized in innovative ways.
