Field Engineer – Construction (On-Site)
Location: Onsite – Active Construction Project
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000
Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Field Engineer to support a large-scale construction project. In this high-impact role, you will act as the key connection between field crews and project engineers, ensuring materials, scheduling, and installation processes stay aligned. Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage materials from delivery through installation to maintain workflow efficiency
- Coordinate with field crews to support installation sequencing and resolve constructability issues
- Identify and resolve material discrepancies (missing, damaged, or incorrect items)
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and engineers to secure timely replacements and solutions
- Provide daily and weekly reporting, including material tracking, forecasts, and budget updates
- Ensure compliance with jobsite safety standards and material handling procedures
- Serve as a liaison between on-site teams and Project Engineers to quickly resolve issues
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in field engineering, construction, or project coordination
- Understanding of construction management and project management principles
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
- Experience coordinating jobsite deliveries, vendors, and logistics
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work full-time on-site in an active construction environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
