Hiring Material Handler (Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to launch and operate a brand-new 2nd shift as a one-person material handling team. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment while playing a key role in supporting an expanding operation.
In this position, you will be responsible for moving, storing, and tracking materials using forklifts and other equipment, helping to establish processes and support the growth of a rapidly scaling program.
Shift & Compensation
- 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
- Training Schedule (First Month): Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
- Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hour for 2nd shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the facility
- Use reach trucks and pallet jacks to load, unload, sort, unpack, and stage products
- Load and unload trucks and transport vehicles with accuracy and care
- Pick, pack, and stage orders in accordance with production schedules and work instructions
- Utilize ERD/SAP systems and RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate records
- Conduct routine inventory checks and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with GMP standards
- Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and handling materials
- Remain on your feet for the majority of a 10-hour shift
- Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Work independently on 2nd shift, managing workflow with minimal supervision
- Support start-up and expansion efforts, contributing ideas to improve operations
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of forklift experience, including sit-down and stand-up equipment
- Hands-on experience with reach trucks and pallet jacks
- Proven experience in loading, unloading, staging, and material handling operations
- Familiarity with ERD/SAP systems and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cleanroom, GMP, food & beverage, or FDA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting
- Welding experience or exposure
- Experience in a start-up or rapidly evolving production environment
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
