Electrical Engineer


Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will perform circuit board design on aerospace boards using Altium, with a focus on power electronics. You will work with various communications protocols such as UART, SPI, and Ethernet, while supporting component selection.


Responsibilities

  • Design circuit boards for aerospace applications using Altium software.
  • Work with power electronics and integrate them into circuit designs.
  • Utilize and implement communications protocols including UART, SPI, and Ethernet.
  • Support the selection of components and assess risks associated with those components.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5+ years experience as a electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in circuit board design and power electronics.
  • Experience working with Altium software.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and practices.
  • Understanding of communications protocols such as UART, SPI, and Ethernet.
  • Ability to assess risk for component selection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with FPGA is a plus.

Work Environment

The position requires working onsite three days per week alongside three other electrical engineers. You will be designing three boards with flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with core hours between 9 am to 3 pm. The work environment is casual.
