Job Title: Apprentice Electrician
Job Description
This role focuses on installing electrical conduit and running pipe on a variety of multifamily and commercial construction projects. You will support rough-in and overhead electrical work across multiple job sites, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient installation of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical conduit and run pipe for conduit in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
- Perform rough-in and overhead electrical work for multifamily and commercial construction projects.
- Assist with electrical installation tasks, including layout, measurement, cutting, bending, and securing conduit.
- Pull, route, and organize conduit to support electrical wiring and system components.
- Read and follow construction plans, drawings, and instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Use and maintain personal tools and equipment safely and effectively on the job site.
- Follow all site safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with other technicians and trades on site to complete work on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure materials are stored and handled properly.
- Report progress, issues, and material needs to the appropriate on-site lead or supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Experience with electrical installation in multifamily and commercial construction environments.
- Hands-on experience installing electrical conduit and running pipe for conduit.
- Ability to perform rough-in and overhead electrical work safely and efficiently.
- Background as a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice or equivalent field experience.
- Proficiency in basic construction and electrical tools related to conduit installation.
- Capability to read and follow construction drawings and instructions.
- Strong awareness of job site safety practices, including consistent use of PPE.
- Reliability in traveling to and working at various project locations as assigned.
- Ownership and regular use of personal tools required for electrical and conduit work.
- Availability of personal PPE suitable for construction and electrical job sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience on storage buildings, schools, city facilities, and commercial buildings.
- Familiarity with multifamily building layouts and commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to adapt to different job sites and project types.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a construction environment.
- Willingness to grow into a long-term role following a successful contract period.

Work Environment
You will work on active construction sites across multiple locations, including a storage building in Fort Collins, an innovation building/school in Longmont, a city hall in Fort Lupton, and a commercial building in Wellington. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, often at heights and in overhead positions, with exposure to typical construction conditions such as noise, dust, and varying weather. You will use standard electrical and construction tools, along with your own personal tools and PPE, which are required for daily work. Work hours align with standard construction schedules, and you will collaborate closely with other trades and team members to complete projects safely and on time.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
