Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and run CNC machines, utilizing your skills to teach and mentor others.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) such as Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, and Okuma.
- Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.
- Set tools, change tools, and edit programs using Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.
- Use standard gauges and inspection techniques.
- Ensure quality by employing SPC, inspection documentation, and problem-solving techniques.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years of set-up experience on CNC Lathes.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.
- Proficiency in using standard gauges and inspection techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace products and/or close tolerance parts is a plus.
- Ability to teach and mentor others.
- Demonstrated progression within machine operation.
