Low Voltage Cable Technician
Location: Hartford, CT
We are looking for an experienced Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our team in the Hartford, CT area. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on cabling experience who holds a valid Connecticut low-voltage license.
What Youll Be Doing
- Installing, pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling
- Working with Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and other communication cabling
- Installing and terminating jacks, patch panels, and related equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing cabling issues
- Reading basic prints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Following jobsite and safety requirements
- Working independently and alongside other technicians
What Were Looking For
- Valid Connecticut low-voltage license, such as a T or C license
- Previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecom, or electrical experience
- Experience pulling and terminating cable
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts and using basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Cat5e/Cat6 installation and termination
- Fiber optic cabling
- Testing and troubleshooting
- Commercial construction or structured cabling environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
