Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team in a large aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of material handling processes, including verifying paperwork, adhering to shipping instructions, and safely moving products using a sit-down forklift.
Responsibilities
- Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions for accuracy.
- Kit and move products safely using a sit-down forklift.
- Train and operate as a forklift operator, ideally with 1 years of experience.
- Efficiently handle tasks such as packing, loading, unloading, and material handling.
- Utilize computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.
Essential Skills
- Proficient computer usage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and write effectively.
- Experience in operating and training as a forklift operator.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to handle tasks such as palletizing, packing boxes, and picking.
