MAZACAM CNC Programmer- Remote Contract Position

**Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally 1-2 weeks per month**

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in MazaCAM programming for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak QT-450M machines.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining experience, and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and

precision.

Key Responsibilities:

·Develop, edit, and optimize MazaCAM programs for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak Quickturn QT-450M machines.

·Establish new manufacturing and inspection processes from BP to assembly.

·Set up and troubleshoot CNC lathe operations to ensure high-quality production.

·Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve machining processes and cycle times.

·Conduct test runs and adjust programs to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

·Provide technical support and training to on-site machinists as needed.

·Travel to Italy to support production and programming needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

·Proven experience in CNC programming with MazaCAM for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak QT-450M.

·Strong knowledge of GD&T.

·Strong knowledge of Mazak controls, tooling, and machining best practices.

·Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.

·Experience with CNC lathe setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

·Willingness and ability to travel to Italy one week per month.

·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

·MazaCAM a must

·Mazak lathe experience a must – able to set up

new machine

• SolidWorks experience
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software for offline programming

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6-12 Months
• Travel: One week per month to Italy
• Compensation: Competitive based on experience
