About the Role
As a Facilities Supervisor at CBRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a high-profile pharmaceutical research and manufacturing campus. This complex environment spans multiple buildings and more than 1.7 million square feet of office, laboratory, and manufacturing space.
In this role, you will lead and support a team of skilled facilities specialists responsible for operating and maintaining building systems within tightly controlled operating parameters. You will oversee preventive maintenance programs, coordinate corrective repairs, and help ensure the continuous performance of a wide range of industrial and critical building systems.
Success in this position requires strong collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with the client, vendors, and contractors to manage day-to-day building operations and support long-term facility needs. This role sits within CBRE's Facilities Management function, which focuses on maximizing asset performance while supporting Property Management on repairs, capital improvements, and investment planning.

What You'll Do:
• Supervise the unionized employees to ensure optimum performance.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities with other departments within the client's facility.
• Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers by ensuring all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are understood, and implemented.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, cGxP procedures, specifications, and documentation practices.
• Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment.
• Review data from work order reports and create and present performance and progress status reports to management. Approve work order reports and suggest improvements to efficiency.
• Monitor the team's performance using objective metrics reported monthly.
• Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
• Proactively evaluate current and future services, support and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. Maintain key relationships with client.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need::
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS/SAP systems and pharmaceutical experience are both a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
• Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset.
• Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
