Join our team as an Electronic Technician, where you will be at the forefront of technical analysis and troubleshooting in a dynamic production environment. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive fully compliant products through detailed fault analysis and testing.
Responsibilities- Perform self-devised, supplemental fault or technical analysis to isolate faulty components beyond the scope of documented Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
- Resolve technical issues in production and prototype testing to ensure compliance.
- Repair, modify, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test electronic fixtures.
- Analyze test software and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in test areas.
- Follow manufacturing methods and processes for all jobs.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of released products.
- Support product longevity and engineering projects.
- Conduct qualification testing as required.
- Maintain and update fixturing in the test area.
- Assist in new product development and improvements.
- Schedule work to meet production deadlines.
- Provide proper documentation to support final product design.
- Travel to third-party labs for product qualification, testing, or failure analysis when required.
- Associate degree or technical school and equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Technician in an Avionics or related electronic production environment.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using DVM and oscilloscopes.
- Experience in an AS9100 certified facility.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Ability to operate test equipment such as logic analyzers, voltmeters, thermal chambers, and vibration tables.
- Strong electromechanical background and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing fixture design and assembly processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Team player able to work well with engineers and other employees.

Work EnvironmentOur work environment involves significant sitting, operating test equipment and light machinery, and the ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. Occasionally, longer working hours may be required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
