Job Title: Interior Designer


Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Interior Designer who is adept at performing complex interior design tasks. This role requires collaboration with project teams to successfully complete various project phases. The position involves developing practical, aesthetic, and safe design concepts that align with client goals and budget constraints.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects or their phases remain on schedule.
  • Select and specify interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and artwork.
  • Conduct space planning, layout, and coordination of furnishings, equipment, lighting, and colors.
  • Coordinate color and material palettes.
  • Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Create 2D and 3D design presentations.
  • Prepare and conduct client presentations.
  • Update documents during design phases.
  • Assist in subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials and furnishings.
  • Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp.
  • Experience with construction documents and project management.
  • Expertise in interior design, space planning, and interior architecture.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate interiors and schematic design.
  • Experience with hospitality design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or foreign equivalent.
  • Experience with projects of 30,000 SF and larger.
  • LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of sectors with opportunities to diversify work types.

Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid, with office presence required on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday. The team consists of 30-40 employees, providing a collaborative culture that includes fun office events every quarter. This role offers stability with a company that has been in Florida for 40 years.
