Publications and Scientific Communications Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Publications and Scientific Communications Lead to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong scientific background and expertise in managing publications and scientific communication strategies. You will play a critical role in liaising with cross-functional teams to build and execute plans, ensuring the seamless review and management of publication work.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communication plans.
- Review and provide inputs on publication work handled by publication agencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams in project management tasks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in clinical development, medical affairs, global product strategy, and market access.
- Engage with discovery teams to support relevant work where necessary.
- Work closely with internal groups exploring AI applications in publications.
Essential Skills
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy (PhD or PharmD).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical communication companies, or consulting organizations in roles such as publication manager or senior content reviewer.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects.
- Leadership experience in running publication strategies and developing scientific platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex medical and scientific information.
- Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in oncology and/or dermatology is a plus.
- Experience with AI applications in publications is desirable.
- Strong writing skills are essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $73.00 - $73.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
