Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $21-$26/hr based on experience/interview
Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-Midnight)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support production operations by ensuring products meet stringent quality and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for inspecting precision-machined components, conducting audits, verifying dimensional accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of manufactured components using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and vision inspection systems.
- Verify product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Conduct First Article Inspections and in-process inspections in accordance with aerospace quality standards.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect complex parts and assemblies.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify non-conforming material and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Inspection or Quality Control within a Manufacturing, Automotive, Medical or Aerospace environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
