Job Title: Battery Test Technician (Entry-Level)
As a Battery Test Technician, you'll perform computer-based testing on batteries used in satellite systems. You'll execute test procedures, review data and test results, determine whether batteries meet required specifications, and accurately document findings. This role is primarily computer-based and is performed within a manufacturing environment.
No previous battery testing experience is required. We provide training to help you learn the equipment, software, and testing processes needed to succeed. If you're comfortable using computers, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working with technology, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Connect batteries, charging systems, and electronic components to testing equipment
- Start and monitor computer-based battery tests by following step-by-step instructions
- Track test progress and ensure equipment is running properly
- Record test results and observations using computer software
- Work with multiple test stations while staying organized and accurate
- Follow testing procedures and quality standards to ensure reliable results
- Report equipment issues or test concerns to your team
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe

- 8:30AM - 5:00PM (Monday - Friday)
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, testing, or a related environment is a plus but not required
- Comfortable using computers throughout the day
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to learn new software programs and technology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Work Environment
The role is based in a climate-controlled facility designed for comfort and consistent equipment performance. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break and two additional breaks during the day. Most of the work is performed at a computer workstation, using Linux-based software and computer-based testing stations to manage battery and hardware tests. The environment is structured and process-driven, with clear work instructions, quality standards, and good manufacturing practices guiding daily activities. You should be comfortable spending the majority of your day on computers, handling electronic hardware, and navigating various software applications while maintaining a professional, detail-oriented approach.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Homestead, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
