Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roadway Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of roadway projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop roadway plans, including alignment, grading, drainage, and pavement design.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Perform traffic analysis and modeling to optimize roadway design and improve safety.
- Provide technical support during construction and address any issues that arise.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in roadway design and engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Miami, FL.
