Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician plays a key role in a controlled manufacturing laboratory environment by performing image reviews, operating robotic equipment, loading and unloading equipment, and packaging products. This role follows established procedures and documentation standards to ensure consistent, high-quality production while working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Execute the daily production schedule, including changeovers, image reviews, and product packaging, using both manual and automated processes.
- Operate robotic and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload equipment and materials in preparation for and during production activities.
- Perform image reviews and other quality-related checks to ensure products meet defined specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures and good documentation practices to maintain accurate and complete production records.
- Work independently and as a collaborative team member to ensure all assigned tasks are completed each day.
- Understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Apply basic math skills as needed for production, measurement, and documentation tasks.
- Communicate status updates, issues, and progress clearly to department leads and supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and compliance with PPE assessments and SOPs.
- Handle, move, and lift materials and products in accordance with physical requirements of the role.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
- At least 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions.
- Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation.
- Capability to operate manufacturing and robotic equipment following established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail for image reviews and quality checks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to complete daily tasks.
- Commitment to following standard operating procedures and good documentation practices.
- Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and frequently reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.20 - $24.20/hr.
