- Perform accurate and efficient pharmacy data entry using two computer screens in a high-volume environment.
- Handle inbound phone calls from members and providers to address pharmacy-related inquiries and requests.
- Communicate prior authorization decisions to members and providers, including approvals, denials, and requests for additional information.
- Conduct manual outreach through outbound phone calls and clearly explain prior authorization outcomes and next steps.
- Maintain a strong focus on productivity and consistently adhere to established schedules and performance goals.
- Provide customer service support by responding professionally to questions and concerns related to pharmacy services.
- Use Microsoft Office and related systems to enter, update, and track information accurately.
- Support administrative tasks such as order entry, documentation, and coordination with internal teams as needed.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment such as printers to support daily workflow.
- Follow all internal processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements related to pharmacy and healthcare operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in health care or pharmacy services, including exposure to managed care environments.
- Background in administrative support or order entry roles.
- Familiarity with printer support and basic office equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes, systems, and performance targets.
Work Environment
- This role is fully remote and requires reliable internet access and a suitable home workspace.
- The schedule typically includes
- Weekday shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time,
- Rotating Saturday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time
- Days off such as Sunday and Monday or another day during the week.
- The work environment is highly production driven, with clear performance goals and structured schedules that must be followed even when targets are met.
- The position offers contract-based employment with eligibility for benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage while on contract, along with exposure to managed care and pharmacy services in a supportive, technology-enabled setting.
This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
