A company is seeking Irrigation Technicians to install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial irrigation systems for apartment complexes, hotels, and new construction projects throughout Central Florida. This role requires experience with underground piping, sprinkler systems, valves, pumps, and irrigation controls, along with the ability to travel between job sites and lead small crews.

Work Environment
This is a field-based position with daily travel to apartment complexes, hotels, and commercial construction sites throughout Florida, generally between Bradenton and Jacksonville. You work primarily outdoors and on active construction sites, performing physical tasks such as digging trenches, installing underground piping, and operating equipment like excavators. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime until 5:00 PM and voluntary weekend work when available. You will frequently handle irrigation tools and materials, low-voltage wiring, valves, pumps, and control systems in a dynamic environment where safety awareness and appropriate work attire suitable for construction sites are important.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
How many years of irrigation experience do you have? Can you read irrigation blueprints and layouts without supervision? Have you worked on commercial projects such as apartment complexes, HOAs, or new construction? Do you have experience troubleshooting pumps, valves, and sprinkler systems? Have you programmed or diagnosed 2-wire irrigation systems? Do you have experience with 24V low-voltage wiring? Have you ever led a crew or supervised other technicians? Are you willing to travel throughout Florida and occasionally stay overnight? Do you have a clean driving record? Have you operated any equipment such as mini excavators or trenching equipment?
