Job Description
This position is responsible for pre-and post-field installations of school zone speed signage, equipment maintenance, and record completion throughout the Tampa, FL area.
Essential Skills
- Proficient experience with hand tools and measuring instruments
- General understanding of signage and installation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and ladders
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must have a working vehicle to use and to comfortably fit and transfer large tools (hoes, shovels, diggers, etc.).
- **Mileage will be reimbursed for use of own car.
Work Environment
- This position requires travel in the Tampa area.
- It is primarily an on-the-road position, requiring site-to-site travel.
- Must be able to drive own vehicle and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- The job requires moderate physical activity, including carrying and transporting loads up to 50 lbs.
- It involves long periods of driving throughout local and surrounding areas.
- Good vision with correction and the ability to differentiate colors between light signals is necessary.
- Must be willing to work in high voltage areas and at various heights, including on ladders.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required based on job demands.
- Driving constitutes at least 75% of the workday.
This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
