Job Description
We are seeking skilled individuals with a strong background to join our team as a Millwright. The role involves building and repairing paint booths within manufacturing and industrial settings. Successful candidates will be responsible for interpreting blueprints to construct I-beam frames with sheet metal paneling for walls, as well as installing ventilation systems, lighting, and other necessary applications to complete projects. This position requires extensive travel, with assignments lasting 3 to 6 months away from home.
Responsibilities
- Build and repair paint booths in manufacturing and industrial settings.
- Interpret and follow blueprints to construct I-beam frames with sheet metal paneling.
- Install ventilation systems, lighting, and other necessary applications.
- Travel extensively for assignments lasting 3 to 6 months.
Essential Skills
- Experience with sheet metal and iron work.
- Proficiency as a Sheet Metal Mechanic and HVAC systems.
- Skills in construction, carpentry, and welding.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and framing.
- Experience in installation and paint booth building.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Certification such as OSHA 10 and 30 is a plus.
- Journeyman status is advantageous.
- Equipment operating certifications are beneficial.
