NOW HIRING Electrical Helpers ($16-$18/hr)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Helper to support licensed electricians on commercial and residential projects. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone eager to learn the electrical trade while gaining hands‑on experience in a safe, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Helper, you will assist with daily electrical installation tasks, material handling, and jobsite preparation under the direction of licensed electricians, including:
- Assist licensed electricians with commercial and residential electrical installations
- Organize, maintain, and transport tools, equipment, and materials
- Help install and run conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) under supervision
- Assist with pulling wire and cable through conduit
- Support installation of electrical boxes, lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches
- Assist with grounding and bonding tasks
- Perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and fastening as directed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools (including a hand drill)
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Reliable transportation to report to job sites daily
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, safety‑focused, and willing to learn

Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Optional Saturday overtime (not required—we value work‑life balance)
- Work performed on both commercial and residential job sites
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
