Job Title: Lab Technician


Job Description

Join our team as a Lab Technician, contributing to the biotechnology industry by supporting institutions, healthcare facilities, and testing labs globally. You will operate DNA and RNA synthesizers and other essential lab instruments, playing a crucial role in our GMP Formulations' high throughput team.


Responsibilities

  • Operate both automated and manual lab equipment, including liquid handlers.
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance activities on lab equipment.
  • Conduct manual pipetting tasks with precision.
  • Utilize customer software packages to complete tasks and create final products.
  • Apply stoichiometry to convert measurement units and create custom solutions.
  • Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests.
  • Assess quality control data meticulously.
  • Maintain daily shipping deadlines for customer products.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, Lab SOPs, and contamination controls.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology.
  • Experience with laboratory techniques such as HPLC and PCR.
  • Understanding of GMP standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a science-related field plus 2 years of applicable lab experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Reliability and consistent attendance.

Work Environment

Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 9 PM to 7:30 AM. The position offers a base pay with additional shift differential. The work environment includes handling advanced lab technologies and adhering to strict safety and operational protocols.


Compensation:$26.67
