Job Title: Electrical Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Drafter responsible for the cradle-to-grave implementation of electrical projects. You will design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical elements of projects from design to completion
• Update drawings and make changes for control panels
• Create, develop, and manage electrical systems and components
• Design electrical controls panels
• Order materials
• Develop and refine current standards

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical design and integration using AutoCAD in an industrial setting
• Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering (ideally electrical)
• 6+ years of experience with AutoCAD electrical design preferred

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3D modeling skills
• Experience with PLC programming
• Experience with HMI programming software

Work Environment

This is a smaller, privately-owned company with management onsite. The company has its own brick-and-mortar facility where engineers will spend significant time on concepting and engineering work.
