Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled production operator to join our team in Eldridge, Iowa. This role involves working on the first shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The position requires a strong ability to handle physical tasks and operate a forklift efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift 20%-50% of the day for material handling and inventory management.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Pack chemicals and label containers accurately.
- Stage, wrap, and prepare products for shipment, including loading 5-10 trucks daily.
- Ensure proper rotation of stocked raw materials and maintain inventory records.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA, ISO, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- 1+ years of forklift experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for labeling and packaging.
- Ability to load and unload trailers efficiently.
- Competence in inventory and production operations.
- Experience with RF scanners and general warehouse duties.
- Ability to work in tight spaces while prioritizing safety.
- Experience in a chemical handling environment is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
