PRODUCTION WORKER- WEEKLY PAY- START ASAP
PAY: $24-$37/hour
LOCATION: Hawarden, IA
HOURS: Various Shifts Available
The Production Worker sets up and operates CNC milling and lathe machinery to produce high-quality parts, assists with material loading, performs tool changes and equipment offsets, and conducts precise quality inspections. This role also supports general fabrication, assembly, and wiring tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area in a modern manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC milling and lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Perform tool changes and adjust machine offsets to ensure accurate machining.
- Assist with loading raw materials and components into CNC machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for part machining and assembly.
- Complete quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Essential Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery, including setup and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for part machining.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in a production environment.
- Experience with CNC machines, including CNC lathes and CNC mills.
- Fabrication and assembly experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Manual machining experience is a plus.
- CNC schooling or trade school experience is a plus.
- Experience with wiring tasks in an assembly or production environment.
- Comfort working with a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong focus on workplace safety and cleanliness.
