Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a full-service distributor of bulk food ingredients, we operate in a fast-paced environment where precision and agility are vital. Formerly owned by ConAgra, our organization distributes bulk ingredients to renowned companies, ensuring food safety and quality are upheld.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklift efficiently and safely.
- Use a scan gun for accurate product picking and recording.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Maintain accurate records of data and information.
- Execute case picking and unloading of products.
- Read labels and ensure product mixing compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Maintain allergen awareness and understand cross-contamination protocols.
- Cover multiple areas and complete diverse tasks as required.
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines is a plus.

Work Environment
Prepare for a fast-paced and demanding work environment where hustle is key. The warehouse experiences colder temperatures in winter and warmer conditions in summer. We maintain a great culture focused on immediate feedback and safety as a top priority. Enjoy flexible work shifts, including Wednesday to Saturday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, or Sunday to Tuesday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM, with Friday hours from 3 AM to 7 AM. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Dress code requires shorts or pants, sleeved shirts without profanity, and steel-toed footwear.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Liberty, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
