This role focuses on assembling and producing custom doors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with a variety of hand and power tools, operate production equipment, and follow detailed measurements to ensure products meet quality standards. The position requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team on either a day or night shift schedule.
Responsibilities- Perform product assembly and production tasks for custom doors according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, and other production equipment safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Operate hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish materials as required for each order.
- Read and interpret tape measures to ensure accurate measurements and precise assembly of components.
- Use a computer to follow production orders, record work, or interact with basic production systems as needed.
- Lift, move, and position materials and finished products weighing up to 50 pounds consistently during the shift.
- Inspect parts and finished doors for quality, accuracy, and workmanship, and report any defects or issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of steel-toe footwear and personal protective equipment.
- Support general production activities, including packaging, material handling, and basic machine operation.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Work assigned shifts and be willing to work every other weekend day as scheduled to support production demands.
- Ability to perform general production and assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as nail guns, sanders, and basic woodworking tools.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately, or at least understand the basics of tape measure reading.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Comfort working with wood products and related materials in a production setting.
- Willingness to work day shift (Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) with every other Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or night shift (Sunday to Thursday 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) with every other Friday 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required steel-toe footwear.
- Basic computer literacy to interact with production-related systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Experience in assembly, construction, carpentry, or any manufacturing setting is highly beneficial.
- Background in general labor, production, or general production roles.
- Experience with machine operation or machine operating in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with forklifts or material handling equipment.
- Experience using calipers or similar measuring tools.
- Comfort reading or working from blueprints or basic drawings.
- Prior experience working with wood products in a production or construction environment.
- Experience in inspection or quality checks within a production setting.
- Background in packaging and preparing finished products for shipment.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing facility focused on custom door production. You will work with wood products and operate equipment such as clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, and other hand and power tools, as well as basic computer systems. The environment is active and physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for most of the shift. Day shift hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with every other Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Night shift hours are Sunday through Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with every other Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Steel-toe footwear is required as part of the dress code, and standard safety practices are emphasized throughout the facility.
