Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Rebar Fabricator to join our team. This position involves working off pick sheets, assisting with the bending and cutting of products, bundling rebar to fulfill orders, and consistently pushing and pulling weights of 20-50 pounds through machines. You will be responsible for reading a tape measure to 1/4 inch precision to ensure rebar is bent at the correct angle, securing rebar with zip ties, and tagging it for shipping. Cross-training in other shop areas may be required, and operating a sit-down forklift is part of the role, with training provided.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
Work in a dedicated warehouse for rebar supply, occasionally pulling products from an uncovered yard, requiring comfort with working in various weather conditions. The facility can be dirty and loud, catering to construction supply needs. The shop spans 72,000 square feet and handles 75-100 tons of rebar daily. Summer and Fall are the busiest times, with no layoffs in winter. Monday toolbox talks ensure safety standards are met. The environment can be hot in summer (100°F) and cold in winter (50°F). The dress code includes steel-toed boots and a hard hat. Shifts run with 8-9 people and vary throughout the year, with up to 15 people during peak times. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm, with flexibility for earlier start times if desired.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
